چکیده
Abstract After the discovery in early 1960s by E. Lorenz and Y. Ueda of first example a chaotic attractor numerical simulation real physical process, new scientific direction analysis behavior dynamical systems arose. Despite key role this discovery, later on number works have appeared supposing that attractors considered models are rather artificial, computer-induced objects, i.e., they generated not due to nature but only errors arising from application approximate methods finite-precision computations. Further justification for possibility existence chaos study system developed two directions. Within direction, effective analytic-numerical were invented providing so-called computer-assisted proof attractor. In framework second attempts made detect directly experiment, designing proper experimental setup. The remarkable result is experiment L. Chua, which he designed simple RLC circuit (Chua circuit) containing nonlinear element diode), managed demonstrate evidence screen oscilloscope. mathematical model Chua (further, system) also known be hidden was discovered bifurcation scenario its birth described. nontriviality cogency procedure localization, question detecting type remained open. This article aims give an exhaustive answer question, demonstrating both detailed formulation radiophysical localization circuit, as well thorough description relationship between modeling, computer simulation.

Generating 3-scroll attractors from One Chua Circuit
This paper reports the finding of a 3-scroll chaotic attractor with only three equilibria obtained via direct modification of Chua’s circuit. In addition, it is shown numerically that the new system can also generate one-scroll and two-scroll chaotic attractors. PACS numbers: 05.45.-a, 05.45.Gg.
متن کاملMotion Detection: Neuronal Circuit Meets Theory
Motion detection in fly vision has been investigated experimentally and theoretically for half of a century, yet mechanistic insights into the neuronal computation have only started to emerge. In a recent issue of Nature, two studies provide major insights into how motion direction is extracted from the image flow projected onto the retina.
متن کاملCortical Maps: Where Theory Meets Experiments
Primary visual cortex (V1) has remarkably systematic functional maps. One commonly used class of computational models proposes that such maps are generated by a mechanism that projects the multiple dimensions of neuronal responses smoothly onto the two dimensions of cortex. In this issue of Neuron, Mriganka Sur and colleagues find a close match between such model predictions and measurements fr...
متن کاملPhase synchronization in the perturbed Chua circuit.
We show experimental and numerical results of phase synchronization between the chaotic Chua circuit and a small sinusoidal perturbation. Experimental real-time phase synchronized states can be detected with oscilloscope visualization of the attractor, using specific sampling rates. Arnold tongues demonstrate robust phase synchronized states for perturbation frequencies close to the characteris...
متن کاملHomoclinic bifurcation in Chua ’ s circuit
We report our experimental observations of the Shil’nikov-type homoclinic chaos in asymmetry-induced Chua’s oscillator. The asymmetry plays a crucial role in the related homoclinic bifurcations. The asymmetry is introduced in the circuit by forcing a DC voltage. For a selected asymmetry, when a system parameter is controlled, we observed transition from large amplitude limit cycle to homoclinic...
